I realize this is a serious issue for many families because it was for me.
I had no idea where to move my parents 2 yrs ago when they were considering Assisted Living. I was completely floundering on the Internet etc. That is why I wanted to share the "ultra" professional that does just this for no charge to families.
Sandra Wallace has been in the field of Elder Care for many years. She was an Exec Director for the Sunrise Corporation and held other positions in a variety of facilities. Sandra counsels family members on what is completely appropriate for elderly parents, grandparents, siblings etc. Her highly personalized services are completely free because she has business relationships with almost all possible senior residential companies. She knows the pros and cons of each place pretty much in the entire Bay Area. What is unique about Sandra that most other consultants do not offer is the development of a highly personal relationship with everyone involved.
She personally accompanies her clients to each and every facility and ONLY does this for those places that she absolutely knows fit the needs of the senior who desires to (or must) move from his/her home to a community offering greater care.
Most other people give you lists of where to go after taking a brief history and leave it all up to you or you have to hunt and peck all over the internet and interact ONLY with that company's sales person.
